His Master’s Voice
When music shows in colors! The phenomenon of chills or goosebumps that come from a piece of music (or from any other aesthetic experience) is called frisson. I have experienced this when enjoying some of Gustav Mahler’s symphonies. It is moving and touching in a deep and meaningful way. Do you see music in colors?
This particular piece is made of frosted glass, painted with different enamels, creating watercolor effect, and then with Reusche paints, mixed with water and gum arabic.
